Land Anknowledgement
As a community we gather, grow and live together on the unceded territory of Indigenous people who are the perpetual occupants of Canada and the surrounding territories as we know them today. We would like to acknowledge in particular, the traditional homelands of the Iroquois (Haudenosaunee), the Algonquin (Anishinaabeg), and the Mohawk people.
Further, this recognition and respect for Indigenous Peoples and their lands is a key towards reconciliation. Please take a moment of reflection to acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and to consider how we are and can each, in our own way, try to move forward in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
