Going Home

Discharge time is expected to be at 10 am, but may be later depending upon your surgery. You must make arrangements for your drive home before you are admitted to the hospital.

If You Have Concerns at Home

If you experience any of the following symptoms within 30 days after being discharged, please call your surgeon's office. Click here for a list of WDMH surgeons.

• Fever or new cough
• Discharge from the incision or surgical site that is coloured, has pus, or a foul odour
• Redness or swelling around the incision with increased tenderness

If you are unable to reach your surgeon, please call 613-774-2420, extension 6357 and leave a message. A Nurse will return your call.
